Murona joins the Dame5Más initiative, by the CRIS Cancer Foundation, to support research against metastatic breast cancer.
The proceeds will go towards metastatic breast cancer research through the Dame5Más initiative.

How it all began
Susana's Story
Susana, a Murona client, shared her story with us.
"I'm Susana Rodríguez-Vilariño and since October 2022, I have been living with metastatic breast cancer. It all started with a very aggressive, HER2+ subtype tumor that had already reached my lymph nodes. After treatment and a mastectomy, I received hopeful news: "complete response." I thought I could get my life back.
But in March 2024, the cancer reappeared, this time with brain metastases, manifesting as epileptic seizures in front of my daughter. When cancer becomes metastatic, it is incurable; we can only gain time while research advances. I know that thanks to the progress made in recent years, I am still here today. That's why research is essential: it is the only way to keep living and for other people in the future not to have to face this reality."
